Kris Koenigsberg 2007

I grew up in Minneapolis, Minnesota and was privileged to sing under 2 great chorale conductors; Harry Opel at Minnehaha Academy and Robert Berglund at Bethel University. Each of these experiences contributed greatly to my appreciation of fine, chorale music. I have been involved in several traditional church choirs and choral groups over the years and also spent 15 years as a worship leader in a more contemporary church setting.

In 2006, when my daughter was singing in the Bethel University choir, I was introduced to Dennis Port and Evangelion and was delighted to fill an open spot in the alto section. I have also been the 'resident videographer' for 2 tours and have enjoyed creating a fun 'memories' video of each trip. I live in TX, but my monthly rehearsal trips are something i enjoy -- not only for the music but the time I can spend with 2 of my sisters who are also in Evangelion!

This will be my 3rd trip to Ukraine and I look forward to encouraging our brothers and sisters there in our common language of beautiful music!
