2012 will be my fourth trip to Ukraine.  I appreciate the mission of the group to be an encouragement to the Ukrainian Christians who have been kept down for so long, and to demonstrate to the Ukrainian professional musicians that there is high quality sacred literature and high caliber performers who sing it.  The contacts we've made over the years with translators, in particular, but also with others has been rewarding.  I also enjoy the friendships made within the group, which have continued outside just the rehearsals and tour.  It's been encouraging to hear how God has used Evangelion to inspire young Ukrainian musicians to use their gifts to serve His church.

One of my favorite souvenirs from Ukraine is a red fox hat.  I wear it whenever the temperature drops below about 20 degrees.  I always get complements on it, especially if I have the side flaps down!
